Diving from a kayak will get you to places you couldn't otherwise get by kicking from shore. There are some great kelp forests in La Jolla that are accessible by kayak. Not only is the diving great from a kayak but the paddle out is great too! It's common to come across dolphin and sea lion on the way.

We deliver the kayaks to the beach, along with the dive gear. Our kayak diving experts will lead and assist you the entire way. The kayaks we use are designed with diving in mind.

Count on this experience to take around four hours out of your day, from the time you walk into OEX to the time you leave the shop. Pricing includes kayak rental and all necessary scuba rental. Our standard schedule is diving at 9am but if you would like to dive at a different time, we can probably accommodate, please let us know.
